Dear Sherrill, I'm writing this in a pitiful attempt to express my gratitude and appreciation for your tremendous efforts in assisting me in purchasing my NEW HOME! Words fall short in conveying in exactly the right way the willingness on your part to participate in a transaction that, I believe, was both God sent and ordained. To say that I came into the transaction on "nothing but a wing and a prayer" is a gross understatement. I entered in the "areana" relying mostly on the "FTP Formula" that I have adopted as an approach to my life as of late. However, from the outset, all I heard from you was "...don't worry, that house is yours..." Even when speed bumps appeared, your encouragement really did mean something. Although I might not have shown it at the time. Lenders requests, paperword mazes, incompetent "experts"; and I believe, at least one "grifter" all were successfully circumvented because the parties to this transaction were able to discern the good from the bad. Generally, Real Estate transactions employ the "ready, willing and able" rule. For my part I was "ready" to have faith that I was meant to have the house, "willing" to place Trust in those whom God had placed to carry it out, and "able" to exercise patience in letting all the events transpire to culminate in a closing. Sherrill, through it all your diligence, care, knowledge and yes, tenacity (God given), I think were incredible. And I THANK YOU! The most shining example of that was a phone call I received while on the road, in which you asked me if I was ready to close"...on YOUR house?" Unbeknownst to me, you had been pursuing various methods of financing through your many contacts/colleagues in the busines, and had secured a package that was to prove perfect for me and my situation. I say "shining example", because at that point I must confess that I was becoming a little weak in the patience part of the "formula". Again, I THANK YOU! Needless to say, we closed on the property and all is going well. It is very nice to know that I now "own" a little piece of the planet, and have truly begun to put down roots in Tennessee. I firmly believe that God called me to Nashville when I was at a very low point in my life, and that He has placed many "key" people in my (his) "world", to guide and assist me in carrying out His purpose for me. Not the least of whom is Sherrill Gooch, Real Estate Professional Extraordinaire!! Lady, you and your teammates have made a gigantic impact on my life as instruments of a Living God to Whom I owe everything. It is my fervent prayer that you and yours will be richly blessed in all you do. I pray also that I am able to be a worthy steward of the Blessing that He has bestowed upon me, and that I receive, and follow, His guidance in using it to His Honor and Glory. I apologize for the rambling course this little "dissertation" took, but too many words are still too few to tell you how much this experience has meant to me. Rest assured that when God reveals another blessing in your areana of expertise, you will be my champion-ette. Further, I will/would have no problem at all referring anyone to you for assistance.
